NBM Solicitors provide the case tracker system free of charge to our conveyancing clients. Clients receive login details upon instructing us to proceed work on their online conveyancing matter. The purpose of the case tracker is to aid communication between the client and their conveyancing team. This is achieved by providing open access to important information as and when it happens, thereby making the whole conveyancing process smoother. Below are outlined some of the key features of the Conveyancing case tracker system.

Timeline of key events

The conveyancing case tracker provides a timeline of key events which updates as your conveyancing matter progresses. The timeline shows when documentation is sent or received and the stage that the conveyancing process has reached. It also shows notes added to the file by the conveyancer to help you stay informed of activity.

Messaging service

The messaging facility gives you the ability to exchange messages directly with your Conveyancing team. Once you post a message on the messageboard your conveyancing solicitor will endeavour to answer your query within 1 working day.

Upload and download documents electronically

Key documents on your matter can be downloaded at any time directly from the Case Tracker. Clients can also upload documents onto their matter to make them available directly to their Conveyancing team immediately. Using the smartphone apps clients can "share" documents and images from other apps directly to the NBM Conveyancing app.

Notifications

The system can instantly notify the client of any headway on their conveyancing matters through a variety of means. When the client sets up a primary email address they can choose to opt in to receive email notifications informing them when something changes on their matter. Also where using smart phone apps to view the case tracker you will receve Apple push notifications or Google Cloud Messaging alerts.

The conveyancing case tracker is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week* to allow you to catch up with progress and ask questions when it is convenient to you.

* The aim is to keep the service available at all times. In practice there may be times when the service is not available due to unforeseen circumstances. As the service is provided free of charge, NBM Conveyancing Solicitors provide no service level agreement and take no responsibility for losses incurred as a result of failure of the system to operate.

** Access to the Case Tracker is at the discretion of the Conveyancing teams and will normally be stopped automatically on completion. NBM Solicitors operate a fair usage policy meaning Case Tracker access will be terminated in cases of overuse or abuse.
